Regeneration

In recent years Scotland has witnessed the emergence of a number of important regeneration initiatives which have sought to transform urban landscapes and revitalise communities across the country.

Wave has worked closely with several of these ambitious initiatives to keep all those with an interest in the regeneration process informed and engaged. In the west the Glasgow Canal Regeneration Partnership is pushing forward a 20 year programme which will see the complete transformation of the city’s historic canal corridor while further east the My Future’s in Falkirk Economic Development Initiative is progressing a range of projects which, combined, are helping to position the area as a major economic driving force in Scotland.

Wave also played a key role in developing and implementing the communications strategy for the successful £25 million HELIX bid to the Big Lottery Fund. This ambitious project will see the transformation of the landscape between Falkirk and Grangemouth into a thriving environmental community and will include the creation of a new stretch of canal and a unique boat lift incorporating the largest horse sculptures in the world.
