As a must visit leisure and shopping destination for visitors to Glasgow’s city centre, a programme of events throughout the year plays an important part in driving footfall into Princes Square
With families as regular visitors to the unique indoor space a special interactive ‘SuperHero’ event was developed and delivered by the Centre’s marketing team and ran over a busy two day period.
With a comprehensive couple of days of SuperHero children’s fun on the cards, and lots of pre-promotion within the centre’s own footprint and direct channels planned, there was a need to push awareness beyond that reach.
Recognising that the media interest in this would be driven by a strong image we engaged the services of two of Glasgow’s youngest Superheroes to take part in a photo session using various locations around the centre.
The end result? Strong and fun images that appealed to the Glasgow media, social media channels had additional, new content to share and the event was a huge success with increased footfall into the centre during the two day event.
